Garmin have published inReach Messenger Plus Firmware Update 4.08 as of 18SEP24:

Changes made from version 4.03 to 4.08:

• Fixed inReach Remote disabling after MTP or charge mode
• Fixed erroneous rejection of inReach remote verification prompts

This update is being released in stages via Garmin Express, and should be available to everyone soon.
