Wrong total distance for activities longer than 167.76 km [Bug 10]

I discovered another bug. I recorded several activities with a length of 300+ km, but the eTrex shows the distance as 167.76 km for all of them. I see 176.76 km in eTrex and in Garmin Connect too. However, if I download the .gpx and open it in another software, the distance is shown correctly.

Based on the description provided, it cannot be concluded that this is a software bug.

Yes, please provide supporting information (screen captures, track logs, etc) and more detail on how to reproduce so we can test ourselves.

It is not possible to conclude that it is a software error because in all devices there are situations in which the activity distance will not be displayed in its entirety and it is not due to a software error.

The action is in accordance with the specification.

OK, if it's not a FW problem in the eTrex SE, then where is the problem?
1st GPX real distance 253.8 Km but eTrex SE shows 176.77 Km.
2nd GPX real distance 359.2 Km but eTrex SE shows 176.76 Km.
3rd GPX real distance 366.3 Km but eTrex SE shows 176.77 Km.
Why is the distance on the eTrex SE wrong?

This happens quite often when Multi GNSS is set, when I set GPS only, the determination of the position is OK.

You wrote 176.76 km multiple times, but the screenshots say 167.76 or 167.77.
It could be a software error. The maximum value of a 24 bits unsigned integer is 16,777,215; if the unit used is the centimetre this corresponds with a maximum value of 167,772 m or 167.77 km... This is way too much of a coincidence.

Why is the distance on the eTrex SE wrong?

Ask Garmin how many activity points the Etrex SE can display.

Maybe try splitting the Base Camp activity, you should be able to get the whole thing displayed in two files.

The screenshots show the complete activities (comparing to the GPX files with BaseCamp). Also, none of the activities contain more than 10,000 points (I'm sure on eTrex SE the maximum of points is at least 10,000, probably more). I don't think this is caused by truncation of the activities.

Newer devices display up to 20 000 points, older ones 10 000, Etrex Se no data.

User data limits of the eTrex SE are specified here. Points per activity are only limited by available device storage.
