USB-C Support?
Are there any planned updates to BaseCamp to fully support USB-C connections and data transfer speeds on newer Garmin devices?

BaseCamp development was discontinued many years ago, with a handful of updates since to address minor stability and compatibility issues. I have no reason to suspect any substantial updates are coming.
Please share with us what you are having trouble with, which version of BaseCamp are you using, on which OS, and with which Garmin products?

The transmission speed is determined by the device on the one hand and your computer and its operating system on the other.
Programs such as Basecamp have no influence on this, nor is the type of connector relevant to BaseCamp.
In other words: BaseCamp already supports USB-C connections and data transfer speeds on newer Garmin devices, it doesn't need an update for that.
