What are "Etyp" updates?

Does anyone know, what "Etyp" updates are? Garmin Express is showing an update for "Etyp 2.50.9999".
Beeline Moto II (FW 4.2.560, HW 9.5.2)
Garmin DriveSmart 86 MT-D (FW 8.00, HW V8, GPS 9.00.50, 32GB SD)
Garmin Montana 750i (FW 23.30, HW V6, GPS 2.90, Touchscreen 85.07, ​64GB SD)
