You are not paying attention.

There have already been THREE firmware updates for the GPSMAP H1 / H1i Plus.

You can read about each of them right here in this forum and at GPSrChive > GPSMAP H1 > Firmware.

I'm in contact with support directly because of some bugs that I reported and it looks like that new update is around the corner...
