Today my Etrex was updated to 4.22 using the Garmin Connect app, then I connected it to the PC to update to 4.25. There are several steps in the update, probably firmware updates for some components (GPS, BT, Wifi chips).
I hope I can finally use it to plan long journeys! That was the purpose of my purchase!

Wow, this was a very quick FW revision. Compass dashboard visual has been fixed.

My observation regarding 4.25: Compass graphics have been fixed.
However, LIVETRACK is no longer functioning.
It is possible to start the session, and the Livetrack link is created. However, when accessing it, “No position data” appears, even though the device has full GPS reception and the Connect app is running and connected.
