eTrex Touch 2 Firmware 12.08

This has been verified on my eTrex Touch 2 as being released. No changelog listed yet, either at the Garmin Forums or the H1 or eTrex Touch firmware release notes pages. Also not available yet through Garmin Express. It was pushed to the device through the Garmin Explore app (no changelog there either).

One can assume it has been released for the H1/H1i Plus units but since I personally can't verify, I'll let others post in that forum that can verify.

Being a .0x release, its likely just a quick bug fix.

Verified just now of fixing the Apps List overflow bug. Won't know if any other changes apply until tested further or until a changelog is released

I suspect they may not post a changelog as the 12.08 release appears to be a quick fix replacement for 12.06, so the changelog would essentially remain unchanged.

I'm actually quite enjoying v12.08. It seems to be stable and with no major issues. The map layers work correctly and stay with their associated Activity. No, the barometer plot glitch has not been fixed but I have my work-around of not putting the unit into GPS Demo/Simulation mode. The calendar is still slow and sluggish.

One feature I'm fond of (see? I'm not constantly negative here) is the ability to prevent the unit from syncing with Garmin Explore.
