Ah well that sucks then. And not very convenient that Garmin don't update their support pages for this...

Hi! It's great idea! If only it would work, one can use Edge/Garmin watch as well. It needs confirmation.
It can be done, we just need to build a library of popular apps here so additional supported units are not necessary.

I may sound like captain obvious, but have you contacted garmin support about it?
Wouldn't surprised me if they kinda "forgot" that these devices still have connectiq and needed updates.
kinda offtopic: is it of any help to share apps from other devices (like edge 1040 solar?).

Yesterday, I have updated Connect IQ Store app on my Android mobile.
Then I selected Oregon 700, installed a new app, then opened Garmin Connect app and voilà.

Now I have a new connect IQ application installed which was not previously possible on this device.

So It looks like Garmin fixed it!
GPSMAP 66sr, GPSMAP 64sx, Montana 680t, Oregon 700, eTrex 30

On iOS it works too in the updated ConnectIQ app.
