Garmin Montana Map data up dates.

My USA SW map card 010-C1134-00 is missing road data in areas with high growth rates. I contacted Garmin and asked them does Garmin update the maps and if so is a new part number issued. The girl I talked with did not seem to understand that maps get up dated from time to time.

Is there a way to get map production dates and information on when new map files are released? My map card was purchased about 3 years ago and is used in a Montana 680T.

to see detailed information about the map on that microSD card, connect your GPSr (with the card installed) and run JaVaWa Device Manager (links available in GPSrChive Software Page), select 'Manage Maps' and select the desired map, then select 'Info' to see map information.
