Montana 610's this relates to.
Just curious if anyone's seen this before, the scale for the map moves location on the screen when a purchased Garmin Topo map SD card is in the 610.
Even if the Topo map is disabled it affects the display regardless of what map/s are enabled.
Remove the card with the Topo map and it reverts to displaying the scale over on the side as it should be.

I utterly disliked their decision to put the scale centre bottom of the screen on the 276CX when viewing the map screen with the overlay (corner data fields) enabled, politely requested they move it to a similar position (over on the side of the screen) same as the 610 or 700 series Montana's, which they, as usual, ignored.
It doesn't move the scale on the 700 when the card is in it, only on the 610's.
Oh wait, it gets better, after trying the SD card in the 276CX to see if it moved the map scale to a more desirable location, which it didn't, now I find one of my legit maps has been disabled and will not show on the 276 at all, even though it's still showing when it's plugged into the computer.
That's after the 276 froze up when first plugged into the computer so I had to remove the battery to get it working again
Factory reset did not fix it
Sigh... there's nothing more enjoyable than spending hard earned money only to be disappointed yet again
