What bike wheel size on Garmin gps?

Unread post by lost »

A regular cheap bike computer usually handles wheels of approx. 500 - 4,000 mm.

When I looked at my Montana 750, it can handle the impressive size of 100 - 9,999 mm.

With 100 mm, you can measure the speed of wheels on skateboards and roller skates by drilling a small hole and gluing a magnet to the side of the wheel and using an ant+ speed sensor.

With 9,999 mm, you can easily measure the speed of the front wheel from a penny farthing bike.

I am curious if all Garmin gps can handle this size of bike wheel or if it differs between outdoor, bike and watches.

Can anyone check the speed sensor settings and share the results here?
