POI Category Errors [Bug 42]

So I'm looking for an airstrip in Ecuador, somewhere near Licto. So I'm at Licto on the map and I press Find->transportation and I'm looking for "air transportation". It seems I have two categories with that name. The first one gives me a large list of bicycle repair shops, the second "air transportation" actually gives me the list of airports near by.

The POI category "air transportation" in "transportation" in find is duplicated by name and the first one should say something like "bicycle repair shops".

Yeah the POI list is a bit of a mess. There are a lot of double categories and entries that do not match the category they are in. Unfortunately not a lot that can be done other than reporting it to Garmin.

Such a shame, 48hrs with the development team and I bet I could sort all these problems. It feels like really amateurish coding perhaps contracted out to a third party.

All issues related to Categories and point categorization are related to the map and not to the device or firmware,
so there is nothing to report to Garmin, unless the map that creates the mess is a Garmin map.

Only garmin maps, genuine garmin maps.
If it's the maps then I'll spend 48hrs with the map development team and fix the mess
