"Maps" App Causes Device to Crash / Restart

Unfortunately, another serious bug that I can't reproduce exactly yet.
What happened:
- Called up the "Maps" app from the main menu
- GPS device crashed and restarts
Since I thought it might be due to a special configuration, I performed a factory reset and set up the device again. The only maps installed now on the device are the included TopoActive and an Outdoor+ map of my region. A SD Card was not installed.
At first, everything worked without any problems. I went on a longer bike tour today and everything worked as expected. At the end, I turned the device off.
After I started it up again at home, the same crash happened. Calling up "Maps" leads to an immediate restart.
Interestingly, the maps can be viewed in the map manager. The recorded track can also be viewed with any installed map.
Recording another tour is possible but you can see the map only in the small preview of the maps app. Clicking on it leads to crashing and restarting again.
This is very annoying because the device is unusable this way. And performing a reset every time can't be the solution either.
I think it's time for a new firmware!
