Activation

	Start Activation
	Messenger App
	Satellite

• Open this page by selecting Activation in the Main Menu or Action Menu
• Before a new inReach device can be used, it must first be activated
• The activation process can take several minutes to complete
• During activation the device must send and receive several messages via Iridium satellites
• The activation warning and menu option will no longer be displayed once activation has been completed

Start Activation
Press any button	Select 'Activation' > , or	Select 'Activate Device'	Open Messenger App, or
	press and hold		Activate via Satellite

	to pair with phone	to complete activation	New Message received
Satellite
	Select 'Activate via Satellite'	Select 'Continue'	Select 'Activate'
Sending Request	Home Screen indicates	'Activation Complete'	Home Screen indicates
